Who can apply to the MDPU?

Boys and girls are accepted for study after 9th, 10th, and 11th grades (14-18 years old).

What documents are needed for admission? Do applicants need church recommendations?

The list of admission documents can be found in the section 'What you need to enroll (For Applicants)'. A recommendation from a spiritual advisor is desirable but not mandatory.

What kind of education does the college provide — spiritual or secular?

At MDPU you receive a harmonious combination of spiritual and professional education. Students study Liturgics, Catechism, Biblical History, and other theological disciplines, along with subjects related to their chosen specialty. A key feature of the program is practical training, where each student can strengthen their knowledge and gain real experience in their future profession.

Is there a dormitory for students? Where can they have their meals?

There are separate dormitories for male and female students on the monastery grounds. Students are also provided with three meals a day in the monastery dining hall. 
Accommodation, meals, and education at MDPU are offered free of charge.

How many years does the program last?

The program lasts three years for all specialties, except for “Artist, Iconographer,” which takes four years.
